lifetime this is clearly becoming a massive problem that needs

peeling wallpaper and discolouration and some being harmful to the
structure you need to attend to your damp problem as soon as
possible.

using their vast array of knowledge and expertise. They make sure
that the visual elements are dealt with as well as making sure that
your health is cared for as sometimes the mould spores in the air can
be damaging to your health. Our team have diagnosed three different
types of damp problems within the home. These include:
Traumatic Damp This type of damp is caused from water
getting into the wall or ceiling from an inside source. This could
either be from a pipe, a drain, a tank leaking or a radiator leaking
into the walls. To register this type of damp you will notice the
patch of water steadily increase in size and dampness.
Penetrating Damp The easiest way of recognising this
style of damp is through seeing small or large patches of damp in the
walls or ceiling quite a distance away from the source of water. This
is from either rain or snow entering the ceiling and travelling the
wall space below. This is commonly found around windowsills and door
frames that have poor sealant solutions.
Condensation Condensation is very common throughout
the whole house as it is simply moisture from the air falling on the
mirrors, walls and windows due to poor ventilation and steamy rooms.
Rising Damp This style of damp occurs from moisture
exceeding ground level and entering the home through the foundations
and walls from the bottom upwards. You will know you are experiencing
rising damp when you see your wallpaper peeling, lifted floor tiles
and stained carpets so get in touch as soon as possible so we can
solve the problem.
